Enamel over steel is the oldest camp material there is and nobody has improved on it. It doesn't crack when it goes off the dock. It doesn't hold yesterday's coffee. It cools fast enough to drink standing up, which is how coffee gets drunk when there's a boat to load.
Twelve ounces, about three inches tall, and light enough that you stop noticing you packed it. It clips to a bag, stacks in a bin, rides in a truck door for a whole summer. Coffee at six, something warmer at ten, and in between you rinse it in the lake.
Buy one and you'll end up buying four. At the cabin, everyone wants the good one.

One rule: this mug goes to the fire, not on it. Don't heat it directly on a burner or in the coals — the enamel coating is the whole reason it lasts, and direct heat is the only thing that will take it off. Hand wash it, keep it off the element, and it'll outlast the truck.
